You my be surprised to hear of the scale of the impact you can also have. For each 120 typical paperback size publications a tree is cut and turned into paper and for each dictionary 24 litres of water are used and 4kWh of energy consumed.

In addition to this, according to the USDA Forest Service, a tree generates $31,250 worth of oxygen, provides $62,000 worth of air pollution control, recycles $37,500 worth of water, and controls $31,250 worth of soil erosion, over its 50-year life. So, for each dictionary the average tree in the forest would have $25 worth of environmental benefits per year.
