English Chinese – Mandarin Dictionary(Windows, Mac, Linux), electronic software travel dictionary to translate English to Chinese – Mandarin displaying a list of words in romanised (phonetic) Chinese – Mandarin. Pinyin or more formally Hanyu Pinyin  is currently the most commonly used Romanization system for standard Mandarin. Hanyu means the Chinese language, and pinyin means “phonetics”.

This utility converts simplified Chinese characters to numeric or accented pinyin. It is very useful when used in conjunction with Google Translation tools which returns full text translations of English to Chinese.

The English Translator – Chinese (Mandarin) J2SE version displays word translations in simplified Chinese and pin yin while the versions for mobile devices only displays in pin yin.
